Come see my movie!

Come see my movie!

Wanna come see a good movie? The Utah Family Film Festival is showing "Stalking Santa" this weekend at the University Mall Cinemas.

My husband Topher and I filmed it when I was seven months pregnant with my son (now 2). We had a lot of fun improvising lines and making each other laugh. The director, Greg Kiefer has become a really good friend of ours and his work is amazing. As they say in the biz, he has a great eye. . . (yeah, I already know all the industry terms and stuff, like "strike" and "roll speed," etc.) This is his first feature, but you'd never know it. William Shatner narrates the movie, which really adds to it, because his voice is so distinct and commanding!

Its made it to many film festivals. Eric D. Snider reviewed it. Read about it here.

View the trailer here.

Come see it! Bring the whole family! I really like it and I'm proud of it! I wouldn't recommend it otherwise. Honestly. I've done a lot of stuff I wouldn't recommend.

The movie times are THIS Thurs. at 5, Friday at 7:10, and Saturday at 6:10.

You're sweet to say that. . . it will be in a theater near you this holiday season! It will be in a NY film festival in August, too. I'll keep you posted!

Just in case anyone wants to know, and I don't want to spoil anything, it IS a family movie. You can bring your little believers and it's okay.

It has a lot of "scientifc proof" of the existence of S.C., but it moves pretty quickly. I think adults will really like it a lot. It's in the same genre as "A Christmas Story" in that way.

It was really good! My kids (boy 14, boy 12, and girl 10) were quoting lines all night. Hoss and I enjoyed it too. Thanks for doing it and thanks for the invite!

Umm...that was some VIP lounge they had.

OK, I TOO just watched the trailer and it looks Pee Your Pants Funny!!

I wanted to go see it so bad but we had a stupid wedding to go to. (We were in Texas)

Do we HAVE to wait till the holidays??? Or do you have connections to have another screening for all of us who missed the film festival?

can I have your autograph?

we will be watching for it - our family could use another christmas cult classic movie - you may end up having to make a Stalking Santa museum like Christmas Story did. Imagine the fun you could have doing that!

Oh, Lisa, I missed it! I miss so many things these days...like missing the fact that you went on your fabulous "Let's Be Celebrities" trip to see your brother. What fun! You are beautiful, as always, and Chris looks like "the job" "the salary" and "the benefits" haven't hurt him at all!
